So there we have it folks! The 2014/2015 NFL Schedule has been released, and we are turnt (is that appropriate there) to say the least! There are a number of moments in the form of games that we look forward to writing about, covering, and exchanging in much-anticipated Twitter chats.
The F3 football mavens are looking forward to quite a few match-ups next season, and we’ve highlighted some of our faves for you. Give us your feedback here and on Twitter @frenzy03.
The reigning Super Bowl Champ, Seattle Seahawks make their 2014/2015 debut with the first regular season game as they take on the GreenBay Packers. Good. Just in time to redeem themselves from that “game” they played against the Packers in 2012.
Skipping to Week 3 – and one of our most anticipated moments of redemption – DeSean Jackson will visit Philadelphia departing from his new home with the Washington Redskins (who’s stadium is actually in Maryland) to take on the Eagles for the first of two regular season meetings. RGIII and the Redskins meet Nick Foles for a second time in Week 16.
RGIII will then go head to head with a fellow draft pick from two years ago, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. We hope he has much Luck (pun intended) throughout the season as he faces the Colts former QB who lead them to two Superbowls; reigning AFC Champ and MVP, Peyton Manning. This match-up should be one for the books – we hope. Considering that Indy is still rebuilding, we’re not too sure – hopeful nonetheless.
The team everyone loves to hate, the New England Patriots – aka the PATS – led by the modelisque QB, Tom Brady meet with the Jets and their newly acquired QB ,Mike Vick Weeks 7 & 16. We are fans of Mike Vick and his attempt to come back into the league to leave a lasting, upward impression and wish him the best as he leads the Rex Ryan offense. Geno Smith, rookie QB has expressed his excitement about Vick coming on – we look forward to seeing their chemistry as well.
On Turkey Day this year, we’ll enjoy the best of the best in cooked meals while watching some of the best division match-ups throughout the day. The Eagles take on the Cowboys; San Francisco(another fave) takes on Seattle and the Bears vs. Lions. I’ll be glued to my plate, and the flat screen.
