Female Football Frenzy, or F3 is a multimedia platform that uses the voice and interests of women - football, fashion, & philanthropy - to impact the charitable community.  | Est. 2011

It was a beautiful day in and around Philadelphia with temperatures hitting well over 85-90 degrees – a picture perfect day for the OTFPWA RefreshmentsOff The Field Player’s Wives Association (OTFPWA) to host a charity event to support the Eagles Autism Challenge. On Sunday, May 19 the ladies of the OTFPWA hosted a sip & shop in response to the Philadelphia Eagles’ Autism Challenge at the MarcCain boutique.

OTFPWA Board Member Valarie Everett hosted the event at the posh MarcCain boutique nestled in the King of Prussia Mall.  The UK-based designer is new to the US with only four shops in the country – all of which are on the East coast. Valarie and the ladies of OTFPWA could not have selected a better venue to host this most-worthy sip & shop event. The intimate event displayed a beautifully lit boutique with a welcoming ambiance fit for the occasion

“We were successful in bringing NFL Ladies in the Philadelphia area together for an afternoon of fun and fashion, while raising funds for the Eagles Autism Challenge local charity, “ said Valarie Everett, OTFPWA Board Member and event organizer.

The Eagles Autism Challenge was created to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of Autism. According to new data released from biennial reports, Autism Speaks (http://www.autismspeaks.org) notes a 15% increase in cases now impacting 1 in 59 children. President and CEO, Angela Geiger says “These findings demonstrate that while progress has been made on some fronts, there is still much work to do.”

Football Meets Fashion at Fashion Touchdown 2018

It’s that time of the year…Fashion Touchdown is here! We are always excited to attend this prestigious fundraiser hosted by Marrone Law Firm in Philadelphia.  We remember this event when it was held at Vie on Broad Street! Now in its fourth year, Fashion Touchdown 2018 will be held at the Filmore Philadelphia on Monday, November 5, 2018.

Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles will rip the runway for a good cause and to support Big Fashion Touchdown FlyerBrothers Big Sister.  The lineup includes Rodney McLeod, Malcolm Jenkins, Zach Ertz, Jason Kelce, Brandon Graham, Chris Maragos, Jordan Hicks, Jalen Mills, and former Eagles’ Brent Celek and Todd Herremans.

Started in 2014, Fashion Touchdown has become one of Philadelphia’s biggest philanthropic events, featuring players from the Philadelphia Eagles and their wives modeling collections from Nicole Miller. In a night of fashion and football, the Eagles walk the runway in the latest looks, followed by a live auction to win their jerseys and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Past winners have enjoyed a private tour of Nicole Miller’s New York studio and dinner with Philadelphia Eagles player Brent Celek.

Last year’s sold-out event raised $360,000, a record-breaking amount due in part to the generosity of both attendees and sponsors. In addition to Marrone Law Firm, LLC, this year’s main sponsors include Live Nation, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and AmerisourceBergen. Returning runway fashion show partners include internationally-acclaimed designer, Nicole Miller, and ToBox Shoes. New this year will be Damari Savile, a men’s fashion line from Philadelphia Eagles player Malcolm Jenkins.

The event has a special meaning for Joseph M. Marrone, Esquire, founding partner of Marrone Law Firm, LLC. Marrone is a member of the Governing Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region and a former Big Brother himself. “Big Brothers Big Sisters has played such a significant role in my life here in Philadelphia that it’s a privilege to be a part of an event that benefits their lifesaving work,” said Marrone. “The guidance and mentorship opportunities that this outstanding organization has offered our community is enormous. I look forward to celebrating their achievements while raising money for their ongoing endeavors.

“Furthermore, I’d like to acknowledge the Philadelphia Eagles and our dedicated sponsors, many of whom call Philly home, for lending their name and resources to this meaningful fundraiser. We couldn’t be this successful year after year without them.”
The women’s fashion show will feature Miller’s Fall 2018 clothing line, while the men’s show will include a bespoke suit line from Damari Savile and men’s shoes by ToBox. Once again, Philadelphia’s own Jason Matthew Salon will donate all hair and makeup services for the female models.

Thursday Night Football

The Myth…The Man…The Mullen: A Verified Victory in the Bay

By the time Thursday Night Football on Fox had concluded, Twitter had already verified Nick Mullen’s account.  That and the one fan – who was probably Nick’s auntie – who wore his jersey were two of the things that truly made Mullen the Man tonight.  Of course, his impeccable nearly perfect play against the Raiders contributed to the verification.

In the end, the battle in the bay ended with the Raiders defense visibly absent from Levi’s Stadium, and the 49ers offense ready to play.  34-3 would be the final score on the W. Coast, and an emotional Nick would speak with reporters following the game about his plans post-play.  To talk to his friends back home in Alabama.

Nothing like a humble winner.

Humbled was not the emotion on the silver and black sideline.  NO.  That was sheer embarrassment. Head coach, Jon Gruden could be seen during on time-out mouthing to his defensive line coach “WTF” *insert SMG emoji*.

Carr hasn’t lived up to his draft hype since his 2009 draft, and the Niners came in to Ram the Raiders (see what I did there), just a week after another Los Angeles came in and did the same.

Next Thursday, the Carolina Panthers come to Pennsylvania to take on the Steelers for Thursday Night Football on Fox.

All the Pre-Season Feels

Written by: Tashyra Ayers, F3 Creator & F3TV Correspondent | IG & Twitter: @TashyrasVoice

Pre-season is always full of anticipating fans, open practices, speculations and predictions from sports commentators on who will go all the way to claim the Lombardi Trophy. We watch for injured players to return, the latest draft picks to take their respective places – some starts others added to the depth charts of the acquiring team.

But for F3 and the City of Philadelphia, the pre-season comes with another level of excitement, but also a level of confidence and our heads held high as we embrace the title of reining SB champs following our defeat of 5-time SB champs, New England Patriots.

So, it’s no surprise that F3 was elated and even that much more excited to have access and the opportunity to engage with the players during open practices, and not just from the stands, but first hand with the players.  We’re coming off closely following your favorite Eagles players during off-season, one in particularly who wrote a book during his time away – Nick Foles, new author of “I Believe”.

F3TV correspondent, Laneisha David caught up with Nick in Cherry Hill, NJ just a month shy of the first practice for the reining champ and SB MVP.  He was finishing the last leg of his book tour which speaks to his belief in Christ as the head of his life, and the main factor, at least what he believes, to be the primary ingredient and factor to the now Super Bowl Champs, Philadelphia Eagles.

On the sidelines of the Open practice we see the comoradore in the team and understand how that played such an important role in the win the MVP QB that has been at the hel, of NE Patriots for a number of years.

Laneisha David was on-site as the players greeted screaming fans who were happy to see their reigning champs take home field for the first time since winning their championship game against the Minnesota Vikings. It was time to see them in action and week one would be a replay of the NFC East championship game against the Atlanta Falcons.

See the next article for recap of the first regular season the 2018-2019 NFL Season and the beginning of Thursday Night Football (TNF).
